Our adventures cater to diverse preferences, ranging from intimate small-group walks in various destinations to day hikes originating from our base in Ullapool.

Our landscapes and seascapes are extraordinary, and diverse. Huge skies and hulking great rocks. Ever-splashing burns and mirror-calm lochs. Wild open heath and mossy intimate woodland. Open sea and a patchwork of islands. Light on the rock and water changes through the day and with the seasons.

Knockan Crag NNR stands as a remarkable geological destination within the North West Highlands Geopark. Within its confines lies one of the most vivid exhibitions of the Moine Thrust. Initially elucidated by geologists in the early 1900s, comprehending the mechanisms at play helped unravel a substantial geological enigma.

Cross the suspension bridge and be awestruck by the Falls of Measach as they cascade into one of Britain's most breathtaking gorges. Traverse the woodland trails to behold panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Keep an eye out for various species of ferns thriving within the microclimate of the gorge.

RHUEART celebrates diverse, contemporary art by established and emerging artists whose work encompasses painting, film-making, prints, photography, textiles and sculpture. We have changing exhibitions in the new gallery throughout the year alongside site-specific installations.

The Harbour Galleries are situated along the West Coast of Scotland -showcasing prints by the Late artist and owner Stuart Herd. Alongside local artists work, memorabilia and ceramics. In the heart of this busy village, just up from the Shore. Ullapool is proving more and more popular due to the NC500 - Scotland's answer to the Route 66.

We curate exhibitions, community projects, workshops and talks alongside hosting residencies and providing long and short term studio spaces. Our programme of activities are designed to offer opportunities for all and support for artists in Ullapool and across the wider North West of Scotland. Through our gallery we aim to bring exceptional art from around the world into the local community.

Established by Eleanor White in 1995, we are a small, independent art school and studio offering a diverse range of visual arts courses. Our aim is to cultivate a deeper visual language, foster creativity, and inspire new artistic directions for all, regardless of experience level. Rooted in the belief that everyone can think and communicate visually, we encourage authentic responses to the world through our teaching.
